The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This role is ideal for a QS with experience in rail or civil engineering who is looking to take the next step in their career with a leading infrastructure contractor. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career with the goal of stepping into a Senior QS role.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and within budget. You will play a key role in cost control, procurement, and contract administration, working within NEC contracts and framework agreements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the commercial management of rail and civil engineering projects.
• Support the administration of contracts in line with NEC contract principles.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial control.
• Assist with cost planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, procurement, and payments.
• Work within framework agreements to optimise project efficiency.
• Use client and contractor portals to manage documentation and communication.
• Contribute to the development of junior team members where required.
