Quality Controller - The Job Role Details : We are looking for a motivated Quality Control Professional to join a dynamic team in the fresh produce industry, specifically salad items.The role is based in a modern facility and the successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Control Supervisor, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality.Quality Controller - Key Responsibilities : Assist with audits in all production and packhouse areas.Perform final product checks before dispatch to customers.Collect samples for shelf-life testing and ensure compliance with hygiene standards, including pest management.Monitor and ensure production clean-downs meet allergen and hygiene standards.Maintain accurate records and complete compliance paperwork. Quality Controller - The Ideal Candidate : You will have : Experience : Minimum 2 years in food manufacturing (fresh produce preferred).Knowledge : HACCP and internal auditing processes.Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong attention to detail.Attributes : Respectful, approachable, and a team player with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Essential Requirements : A valid UK driver's license (essential due to location).Right to work in the UK (18 months minimum visa if applicable).
