Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
Location : Grays
Salary : £50,000 - £60,000 (exact salary offered will be based on experience & qualifications)
12.5-hour rotating shift pattern (Days & Nights)
Manpower is delighted to partner with a leading global manufacturing business in the recruitment of Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians . This is a unique opportunity to join a company with a rich history and globally recognised for the exceptional quality of its products. Based at their manufacturing site in West Thurrock , this permanent position offers the chance to become a valued member of a company that prioritises its staff and provides established career paths.
What you'll be doing :
- Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of electrical equipment, including circuit systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Assist with service calls and respond to equipment issues during your shift.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure production goals are met.
- Support mechanical maintenance activities and broaden your skillset.
- Champion safety standards, report near misses, and promote best practices.
- Use diagnostic tools and logic interpretation to resolve control system issues.
- Maintain records via our SAP Maintenance System and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- You will work a 12.5-hour rotating shift pattern that alternates between days and nights :
Week 1 : 4 shifts
Week 2 : 3 shifts
Week 3 : 5 shifts
Week 4 : 2 shifts
This flexible shift pattern is designed to balance your work and personal time while ensuring round-the-clock support for operations.
