Feeling like your litigation career could use a shake-up? This could be the opportunity to take things up a gear.
QED Legal is on the hunt for a Senior Associate to join a top-tier Financial Services Disputes and Investigations team in Glasgow. This 12-month fixed term contract (initially, there's a good chance of permanent) offers flexible working arrangements and the chance to work with some of the biggest names in the financial services sector. The role is perfect for a Scottish qualified solicitor with at least four years of post-qualification experience in a disputes setting, ready to step into a high-profile position.
You’ll be handling a broad caseload for major financial clients, from clearing and private banks to building societies and niche lenders. There’s scope to dip into commercial dispute resolution too. You’ll be a trusted advisor for strategic clients, supporting senior partners while mentoring junior team members along the way. There’s also plenty of room to get involved in business development and carve out your own niche.
If you’ve got a solid background in financial or commercial litigation, a sharp eye for detail, and a knack for building client relationships, this could be your next move. Commercial awareness and a proactive approach will set you apart, alongside the ability to juggle deadlines without breaking a sweat.
The team is part of one of the largest financial services disputes practices in the UK, offering top-tier advice to banks, fintechs, and other financial institutions. Whether it’s pre-litigation management, dispute resolution, or alternative dispute resolution, you’ll be joining a dynamic team at the forefront of the sector.
If you're ready to make your mark in the financial disputes world, now’s the time to take the leap.
Reach out to Neil Campbell at QED Legal for additional details.
Candidly, I appreciate leaving a role for a FTC is a nerve wracking task, but if you feel like you might need a leg up to reach the higher tiers of the Legal 500, THIS is the role to do it in.
