You will be working for a large public sector organisation in Glasgow. This will be in the 6-month contract role of Digital Publishing Operations Manager.
Your new role
As Publishing Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in developing and publishing online content and deliveringmunications that enhance the reputation of the organisation. You will manage the busy publishing schedule within the digital publishing operations team and monitor publishing output acrossmunications campaigns. You’ll need to enjoy collaborating with a wide range of colleagues. We expect you to have fantastic project management, influencing and networking skills.
As Publishing Operations Manager you will be :
- Managing our digital publishing operations and working to ensure the timely publication of content that adheres to our content strategy andplies with public sector accessibility legislation.
- Capable of managing a multitude of stakeholders andpeting interests.
- Responsible for onboarding, managing and training colleagues in our tools and processes.
- Passionate about using evidence, data and research to make publishing and operational decisions.
- Innovative in your approach to developing and maintaining our content operations processes
What you'll need to succeed
Essential :
Professional experience in a content operational delivery or project management role.A sound understanding of digital publishing operations processes and standardsCredible leadership with excellent influencing / negotiating skills.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work calmly even when faced with fast-paced, high-pressure situations.Excellent analytical andmunication skills with the ability to deliverplex messages to a variety of audiencesExperience of problem-solving, delivering improvement and innovation.Desirable :
Understanding content strategy and content design principles.Experience of working inernmentmunications, or in , adhering toernment Digital Service (GDS) design principles.What you'll get in return
You will be offered a 6-month contract inside IR35. The day rate is flexible, which is why there is a broad scale of between £250-£500 advertised. This role requires 1 day in their glasgow office per week.
