Senior Project Engineer - LondonSSA are currently seeking senior Project Engineers in London to work with one of our amazing tier 2 M&E clients that particularly work on residential and commercial projects. Key responsibilitiesReporting to the Project Manager you will be key to ensuring that defined projects are engineered to specification and delivered in line with planned costs. Working with the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to ensure that any re-engineering / variations to initially agreed plans are managed in accordance with company processes.Develop installation drawings and implement best practice techniques to ensure effective delivery of the project. Identify labour and material requirements to ensure cost effective use of the same and regularly review requirements making the appropriate recommendations to amend the programme to maximise productivity whilst minimising costs. Ensuring design, installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements. Provide leadership for the delivery team in line with the company procedures and values, working to maximise and develop the potential of the team and individuals within. Provide input in the preparation of the project cost plan, budgets and enhanced margin based on the contract parameters and objectives to enable the maximisation of profits. Maintaining positive relationships with the project client through relationships and effective delivery with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability. The ideal Candidate : Building Services Degree or equivalent. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent. 3 years experience within a Senior Project Engineer role within the MEP industry with exposure to large scale projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Salary is highly DOE and could range from £40000 - £70000
