Bookkeeper (part-time)📍 East Kilbride💰 £26,000 - £29,000 FTE (DOE)🕒 20 hours per week - flexible working | Open to full time📌 Permanent RoleThe OpportunityI'm recruiting on behalf of my client - a well-established, growing business in East Kilbride with a fantastic, close-knit team. They've recently won some major tenders, so it's all hands on deck, and they're now looking for a capable Bookkeeper to join them on their journey.This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of day-to-day finance tasks. You'll need to be confident using Sage, detail-driven, and happy to muck in with the wider team when needed.What You'll Do

• Record and process all financial transactions using Sage
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash
• Manage supplier invoices and payment runs
• Raise customer invoices and manage credit control
• Track income and costs by project or tender
• Prepare monthly reports (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow)
• Submit VAT returns (MTD compliant)
• Support with year-end and audit prep
• General admin support to keep things running smoothlyWhat We're Looking For
• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Confident with Sage and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• A proactive team player who's happy to pitch in
• Good communicator and time manager
