Job description

The residence consists of 10 ensuite bedrooms (4 are used usually) as well as 2 further guest bathrooms. The family is made up of 2 adults and 3 children (age 11, 12, and 14) as well as a friendly cat and 3 dogs, so any candidate applying must be child and pet friendly.

There is a part-time Cleaner who comes in 3 days per week.

Duties include :

Management of the day-to-day running of the property – reporting any maintenance issues, organising and management of contractors etc, basic household admin, running errands
All aspects of hands-on housekeeping, including vacuuming, cleaning, dusting, and polishing
Laundry and ironing
Wardrobe management
Maintaining stocks of groceries / any other supplies
Pet care duties

The ideal candidate would be highly experienced and hands-on, confident with managing a large and busy family household. Must be friendly, trustworthy, and smiley with a calm, sunny disposition.

Driver would be essential – there is a car provided for work purposes.

Accommodation : 2-bedroom maisonette with bathroom, living room, kitchen, and utility room – currently unfurnished but furniture can be organised if needed

Working days / hours : 5 days per week with 2 days off during the week – occasional weekends off when the family are away. It is imperative candidates applying are confident managing their own time

Salary : £45,000 gross per annum
