Job description

We are looking to recruit a School Cleaner for one of Nexgens School / Academy partners in the Ringmer / Lewes BN8 area.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 3 : 30pm 6pm
  • 12.5 hours a week
  • 12.21 per hour

Core Responsibilities Cleaning Operative / Cleaner :

  • Dust damp wipe or wash walls skirting boards hand rails ledges window sills radiators lifts doors and frames
  • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
  • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
  • Hoovering of carpeted areas
  • Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles transporting waste material to designated collection points
  • Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
  • Replenish consumable items e.g. soap toilet rolls paper towels
  • Clean kitchens toilets urinals hand basins and sinks

    • What are we looking for

  • Prior professional Cleaning experience
  • IT literate (use of tablet smart phone apps)
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written (English)
  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
