Are you experienced in working with children / young people in English? Do you have a strong subject knowledge of English and want to use this to support vulnerable pupils?
TP Tutors are currently working with Schools and Local Authorities within the East Riding Area . We are seeking an individual who is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives by achieving their academic goals within English.
This role will require someone to work closely with students on a 1-1 basis, providing them with high-quality English sessions to maximise their potential across the subject. This role may involve working with children outside of a mainstream setting.
Tutor Requirements :
- Professional Teaching Qualifications are preferred (Qualified Teacher Status, QTS).
- A strong subject knowledge of the English Curriculum.
- Experience of working with children / young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs
- An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided)
- Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
