Are you an experienced Technical Surveyor looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a skilled professional to join a reputable organisation, providing expert surveying services in property repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects.
Role Overview : As a Technical Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting property condition surveys, asbestos assessments, and health & safety inspections. You will ensure compliance with legislative standards, prepare project specifications and tender documentation, and oversee contract works related to maintenance and improvements. Additionally, you will play a key role in customer consultation and delivering appropriate disabled adaptations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct property condition, asbestos, and health & safety surveys.
- Maintain accurate property service databases.
- Prepare schedules of work, tender documents, and project specifications.
- Oversee contract works and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Administer disabled adaptations in line with regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain external partnerships.
- Manage budgets and ensure value for money across projects.

This role offers agile working, with a designated office base in either Newton Abbot or Bideford. Flexibility, including occasional work outside standard hours, may be required.
