MLK Search are working with an Independent Specialist Academy that pride themselves on providing a holistic, therapeutic, and sports-focused alternative option to mainstream education, to recruit a confident, forward-thinking, and visionary Principal to lead them on a journey of significant growth and development.
The role will be highly rewarding, allowing you the autonomy to work with a small and committed staff team to help students learn to flourish in an environment that prides itself on the highest standards for all.
You will be a strong, confident leader with successful experience in teaching in a similar environment. The successful candidate will enjoy working with the CEO to build on the school’s existing foundation, enthusiasm, and ethos to create an exciting future for the organisation and its exciting plans for development.
Key responsibilities :
- Establish and sustain the school’s ethos and strategic direction alongside the Advisory Board and CEO
- Review, consolidate and oversee systems, processes, and policies so the school can operate effectively
- Identify challenges and barriers to school effectiveness, and develop timely, realistic strategies for school improvement
- Manage the school’s resources, including financial, premises and the team appropriately, efficiently, and effectively
- Assist CEO and Advisory Board in strategic development and expansion of the organisation to include securing new premises and enhancing student recruitment.
