Job description

Position : HIAB Driver

Location : Crewe, Cheshire

Hours : Monday to Friday with every other Saturday morning

About Us :

We are recruiting for a well-established builders merchant located in Crewe, dedicated to providing high-quality building materials and exceptional service to their customers. They are looking for a skilled HIAB Driver to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Role Overview :

As a HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to customers’ sites. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong attention to safety, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate a HIAB vehicle for the delivery of building materials.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to various customer locations.
Load and unload materials using the HIAB crane.
Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements :

Valid HGV Class 2 license.

HIAB certification and experience.

CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card.

Digital tachograph card.

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.

Benefits :

Competitive salary. Pay rate for the first 12 weeks will be £15.69ph (inclusive of holiday pay)
