About The Role
As our Senior Depot Supervisor, you will work closely with the Transport Manager and the Depot Team to ensure that our depot runs smoothly and that each one of our customers receive their appliance on time, every time.
You will be a main point of contact for our Drivers and play a crucial part in, boosting the morale of our existing drivers, alongside welcoming new drivers and promoting positive teamwork, all with an incredible support system to set you up for success. We are a high-performing team and look forward to welcoming someone who is ready to learn and develop along the way.
- Salary : £30,760.00 per annum
- Hours : Monday- Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
Monitor delivery performance throughout the daySupport training for new starters to include Safe Systems of Work and Health and SafetyEnsure that all employees are complying with the training that they have received to provide a safe working environment for everyoneBriefing team daily / weekly on key priorities and workloadSupervising the team and allocating tasks and prioritiesCommunicate with our Drivers, handling any queries efficiently and in a professional mannerLiaise with our vehicle management unit, subcontractors and Drivers completing in-house reports to provide data required by the Regional Manager and Head Office on a daily basisAssist with internal auditsSupport with damage to property, vehicle damage and product damage ad hoc training / retrainingOperational support as and when neededA Few Things About You
CPC qualification is desirableUnderstanding of transport legislation and logistics operationAble to build lasting, effective relationships with people around you even under pressure and in difficult situationsReact quickly to information, and can find solutions to any issues independentlyGood communication skills both verbally and writtenCompetent use of Microsoft, particularly ExcelHave a passion for delivering the service we promise to customersAble to lead, inspire and motivate othersConfident in a fair and consistent approach to people managementA Bit About Us
