THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Scheme Manager to manage an extra care scheme, ensuring that residents receive high-quality housing management services. You will play a vital role in delivering a vibrant, supportive, and seamless service for our residents.
- Effectively manage all aspects of housing-related services, ensuring a high-quality housing management service.
- Monitor and address low-level rent arrears cases in line with West Kent’s policies and procedures.
- Line manage and support the Extra Care Scheme Assistant to ensure high performance.
- Take ownership of scheme KPIs and ensure they are achieved and reported on time.
- Develop positive relationships with care providers, contractors, and other key partners to provide a seamless service for tenants.
- Create and manage an engaging activities programme that links the scheme to the local community.
- Implement necessary health and safety and fire checks to maintain compliance.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a housing scheme, with a strong understanding of the issues facing the older person housing sector. You will also need to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure the highest standard of customer service.
THE CONTRACT
37 hours per week (Monday to Friday – Monday 8 am – 6 pm, Tuesday to Friday 8 am – 4 pm).
