This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, on a long-term contract with the opportunity to apply for a permanent post in the next academic year. Trial days are taking place after the Easter break.What You'll Be DoingDelivering focused 1 : 1 and small group support to pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs.Working alongside class teachers to prepare and adapt lessons that support pupil engagement and success.Encouraging progress in reading, writing, and numeracy through targeted academic support.Helping to maintain a calm and positive classroom environment.Assisting with lunchtime supervision and classroom transitions throughout the school day.Tracking pupil progress and reporting to teaching staff on development and needs.Supporting the organisation and running of school trips and special activities. Who We're Looking ForIndividuals with experience supporting children, ideally in an educational setting or with SEN.Someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to play an active part in school life.A confident communicator with the ability to form positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.A patient, adaptable person who can support a range of learning styles and needs.Candidates must hold at least GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and the ability to obtain a valid enhanced DBS.
