A fantastic opportunity for a Security CCTV Operator to join our team based in the Essex area.

• Must be located close to the Clacton On Sea CO15 area.Our client is a thriving Security provider with clients in Residential, Corporate, Retail and events.They are seeking an enthusiastic, well presented and diligent individual with a strong security background. Applicants should have a good understanding of SIA protocols in relation to health & safety, identifying safety hazards and be comfortable with managing challenging situations in a calm and professional manner. Customer and client care is one of the most important factors within the security industry, so your ability to work with the general public and clients will be highly beneficial.Our client requires an SIA Licensed CCTV Operator to be based at their client’s premises in the Clacton area.Job purpose : To provide security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with both the client requirements and company policies and procedures.Role requirements : Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.Must hold a valid SIA Frontline CCTV Licence.Previous CCTV control room experience - desirableIntermediate level PC Skills ( MS Office)5 year checkable work / career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standards – BS7858Duties include : Liaise on a daily basis with staff + the client and operational management teams.Support the fulfilment of the contracted / business objectives, through the range of duty assignments which will involve security and support duties.Ensure safety of customers and all staff.To operate, monitor and prioritise all security systems located within the Control Centre in an effective manner, ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the site specific assignment instructions and current legislation.To operate and monitor the CCTV systems to activate and manage access control in line with the client requirements.To record all events and actions monitored from within the control room.To respond and react to any incidents or security issues that may arise.To monitor the CCTV system and report any faults through to line manager and in line with client requirements.To work alongside the emergency services and other security providers to ensure high standards.To produce written reports on incidents and occurrences in line with client requirementsTo perform ad hoc duties as directed.About you : Customer focusedSelf-motivated, proactive & willing to learnSympathetic and responsible within the site specific guidelinesAble to fit into our client environment and improve the customer experienceEssential skills : SIA front line or DS licenceSIA CCTV LicenceExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Confident English speaking (other languages would be advantageous).
