Learning Support Assistant – Clacton On Sea Area – Full Time

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Learning Support Assistant close to the Clacton area. This is a full-time position starting after the May half-term.

About the LSA Role :

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Learning Support Assistant with experience working closely with students who require extra support. This is to work in a Secondary school on a permanent basis as soon as possible. Duties may require 1-1 support, as well as taking out intervention groups.

Contract Details for the LSA role :

  • Location – Clacton On sea

  • Contract type – ongoing
  • Full time / part time – Full time Monday to Friday
  • Minimum rate of pay – £87 – £95 per day

Experience, Training and Qualifications for the SEN TA role :

  • Previous experience working with visually impaired and hearing impaired students.
  • You must be able to modify the pre-planned lessons with the use of braile and audio.
  • Previous experience working within further education is desirable.
  • A passion for working with students with SEND.
  • Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
  • You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.

    • To be eligible for the LSA role through Prospero Teaching you must :

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
