Job Title : Junior Product Specialist – KW Feeds
Location : North Yorkshire – UK
Contract : 12-month fixed term contract – Monday – Friday – 08 : 30-17 : 00
Do you enjoy building relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders? Do you have an interest in agriculture or ruminant nutrition looking to grow your career in this industry? if so, this would be a fantastic development opportunity to become a skilled product specialist within ruminant animal feed in the future, with an opportunity to work with a growing, experienced, and friendly team.
Reporting to our experienced product blends lead, this is a developmental role supporting the administration efficiency and profitability of the blends team within the KW blends business. You will work within the KW Retail team to support the blends product area to achieve and exceed budget by building positive relationships with our farm customers, our blend production sites based around the UK, hauliers, and internal stakeholders. You will also support administration responsibilities regarding product pricing, contract balances and collating data for sales and commercial opportunities within the fast-paced industry of raw materials.
This role will offer the exciting opportunity to support the streamlining and implementation of new processes and procedures utilising skills such as a continuous improvement and commercial mindset. You will also look at ways to leverage on cross-sell opportunities for all product channels with a core focus of supporting the transition of customers into the rationing team using referrals.
What you will bring :
- Good administration and organisational skills ideally with some customer service or administrative experience.
- We would consider a graduate or someone with an interest in agriculture or animal feed, looking to develop their career in this industry.
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- A curious attitude and confidence to ask probing questions.
- Adept in exchanging information clearly and building internal and external relationships.
- A natural collaborator who can be adaptable to new responsibilities to support the wider team when needed.
- Pro-active with a creative attitude which facilitates a culture of ownership, development, and achievement.
