We are currently looking for an organised and driven Assistant Manager for our Leather Goods and Accessories Boutique in Manchester. The successful candidate will support the Manager in the efficient running of the department, ensuring sales targets and operational targets are met; all clients receive the highest level of service and the team are supervised and motivated.
This is a full-time role which requires flexibility to work Monday to Sunday, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities : Customer Service
- Lead by example, mentor and train the team to develop their sales and service techniques
- Support the Department Manager with the development and implementation of a local client development strategy
- Build internal relationships to support the team to cross-sell across product universes
- Develop client loyalty through building relationships with VVIC and Elite clients
- Monitor and improve the sales levels delivered within your department.
- Deal efficiently and effectively with any customer complaints
Management Duties
Support the department Manager in the delivery of the department’s commercial goals whilst complying with all Company policies and through delivering the highest of standardsDevelop relationships with Head Office colleagues in order to provide feedback on clientele and product performanceSupport with the ordering and management of stock where requiredLead the store team, organising and delegating daily tasksSupport the [department / boutique] in the recruitment, evaluation, motivation and development of the teamTake all efforts to store minimises stock losses and store operating expensesOther
Support the team to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and display within the departmentTo be conversant with selling systems, cash and credit and exchange procedures.To maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the storeTake all actions necessary to maximise security and prevent theft of productTo ensure that the [boutique / department] operates in accordance with the Company administration systems and procedures to minimise lossesTo carry out any additional duties as directed by your Line Manager or Head OfficeRepresent Christian Dior as an ambassador at events where necessaryProfile
Experience Required :
Previous experience at Assistant Manager level within luxury fashionExcellent communication and relationship building skillsProven ability to lead an experienced and capable teamAn existing client book (preferred)A passion for Christian Dior and our collectionsStrong knowledge of fashion and trendsFluency in a second language (preferred)
