Excellent opportunity for a building services sector Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and successful maintenance team to work on a large prestigious facility in the Chester area.We are looking for driven, professional and multiskilled engineers to assist in the Electrical / HVAC maintenance within the estates.The role is a permanent position paying up to 42kOn call 1 in 4 (£125 plus call out min 4 hours)Mon-Fri 6am-3pm & 2pm-11pmDescriptionWithin the maintenance engineer role you will be carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the site. The role will require a flexible approach as you will often be called to carryout or support works that are outside your core discipline.Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks on Electrical plant, controls, lighting etc. plus over lap with mechanical plant such as AHU's, fan coils, pumps, venting, etc.To complete PPM’s in line with SLA and KPI agreementsTo provide H&S and compliance engineering on each facilityTo undertake compliance checksTo update the CAFM system and log job status etc.To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely serviceTo support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplinesSkills & Background Required : Recognised professional qualification e.g. City & Guilds Electrical L3 with 18th editionMaintenance background in commercial sized buildingsMust be presentable and reliableBe capable of passing a security checkMarine Engineers welcome to applyWilling to complete work across other areas of maintenanceAble to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externallyStrong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlinesIf you are interested then please click the APPLY button nowPRS are a leading specialist recruitment and search & selection consultancy within the Building Services, FM and Support Sectors.Please note if you have not heard from us within 5 days, then your application has not been successful.PRS is an equal opportunities employer
