My client is seeking a motivated individual who is eager to develop their payroll skills within a supportive, close-knit team. Working alongside the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in managing three weekly payrolls and one monthly payroll. This role offers excellent growth potential, with the opportunity to progress to Payroll Officer over time.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process holiday requests and manage sickness absence records.
- Prepare monthly reports, including employee movements, new starters, and leavers.
- Enter new starters and process leavers in the payroll system.
- Input timesheets for both weekly and monthly payrolls.
- Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the annual salary review process.
- Process sickness-related and statutory payments.
- Perform wage reconciliations for weekly and monthly payrolls for the Accounts department.
- Manage commissions, bonuses, overtime, and expenses for all payroll cycles.
- Maintain and organise payroll documentation and reports.
- Keep Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) up to date.
- Distribute payslips efficiently and accurately.
- Provide administrative support to the Fleet Manager as needed.
