Overview
We are looking to support an engineering company looking for a Mechanical Fitter. The company design and manufacture bespoke capital equipment that is supplied globally and are a dynamic and growing business.
The Role
Reporting into the Production Manager and working within a mixed engineering team, the purpose of the role is to provide mechanical assembly, disassembly and testing on a range of bespoke technical machinery. You will be building structural components from engineering drawings based at their HQ in Cheshire day to day and supporting some of the installs on the customer sites as and when required to add to the learning and development.
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, NVQ level 3
- Competent to read engineering drawings
- Experience with mechanical assembly / fitting
- Open to sector within machinery build, Rail and Aerospace transfer quite well
- An Army / Navy / Forces background could work well for this role
