TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to work in the Chertsey, Surrey area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company. The role will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available. Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).
This role requires flexibility during their busy season (May to October) with regards to hours and days worked.
Salary : £45,000
Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis :
Key responsibilities :
- As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will deliver maintenance across all aspects of building services, bringing strong knowledge of building systems across all disciplines with a key competency in mechanical engineering.
- Provide maintenance support (Including Installation, planned, preventive and reactive maintenance) in relation to site services, plant / equipment.
- AHU, FCU and mechanical servicing / maintenance, to include pump seals, bearings and alignment.
- Form part of the on-call rota within the Maintenance Team.
- Seasonal shift pattern (some weekends / evenings)
- Prioritisation of work programme to satisfy business needs.
- Ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level.
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs.
- Oversee the conduct of contractors on site, monitoring the implementation and performance of tasks allocated.
- Deliver specialist technical support and services in relation to building plant / equipment.
- Ensure robust application of health, safety and environmental procedures and processes.
- Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as and when required.
