SEMH English Teacher (Sutton, SM4) - Immediate Start Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an experienced English School teacher to be join a supportive team for class teaching in Sutton. The Pupil Referral Unit caters to students aged 11-16. Daily Rate : GBP150 - GBP256 Location : Carshalton, located in the London Borough of Sutton Contract Type : 5 days a week, Full-Time Start Date : Immediate Duration : Long Term, Temp-Perm Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment in small group settings.
• Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to support the personal and academic development of students.
• Take on the planning, preparation, and assessment duties associated with the role, as well as contribute to the wider responsibilities expected of a permanent member of staff. Requirements :
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching KS3 or primary-aged students, ideally in a PRU or similar setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to the needs of learners.
• Empathy, resilience, and a proactive approach to working with students with additional challenges.
• A valid DBS on the update service.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Proven teaching experience.
