Clerk of Works / Quality Assurance Inspector South London £40 / h - £47 / h (Umbrella) Repairs and MaintenanceDaniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known social housing company based in the South London area who are looking for a highly skilled Clerk of Works / Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team.They are looking for an experienced Clerk of Works to : Provide a Quality Assurance Inapector / Clerk of Work service across the full range of work undertaken by the organisation.Agree joint quality control procedures with the constructor / contractor in accordance with requirements and audit such procedures and records to ensure that quality control inspections are effective and efficient.Maintain a critical but constructive relationship with the contractor's supervisory staff.Examine specifications and drawings and ensure that any aspects which are not satisfactory are rectified.Carry out site visits weekly, to all sites to ensure that materials, construction standards and site practices meet requirements, and prepare a Health and Safety report.Inspect finished work.Prepare specificationProven track record for being Reliable and punctualMust hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicleKey Knowledge : Social Housing, Building Contractor and local authority industry knowledgeIT and Excel LiterateIf this sounds like a role that suits your profile, then feel free to get in touch
