A primary school in the BL9 area is currently looking to recruit for a talented and committed Year 4 Teacher from May 2025, due to a scheduled absence. This role is ideally to start w / c 6

May 2025, dependent on availability, until the end of the summer term (22

July 2025), with scope to extend this beyond the aforementioned date. This school works collaboratively with pupils and parents alike with the intention of building strong, trust-filled relationships. Many of their pupils possess unique talents that the school strive to nurture through the creation and maintenance of a positive learning environment.

About this role :

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering the curriculum and enhancing the learning experience of your pupils.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Planning, preparing and delivering your own lessons each day.
• Marking and assessing the pupils’ work
• Giving your pupils the support and guidance they need to fulfil their academic potential and meet their goals.
• Managing behaviour in a classroom setting in line with the school’s behaviour policy and safeguarding measures.
• Creating and sustaining a positive learning environment based on support in which your pupils can thrive.
