n Puro Associates is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the Bury area in their quest for a full-time Senior Accountant to integrate into their warm and established team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will encompass :

Managing a client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of top-notch accounting and tax services

Preparation and review of annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns

Offering financial guidance while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations

Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, with a focus on training and development

Assisting in special projects and ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Nurturing strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business expansion and enhancement

To be eligible for the Senior Accountant position, you should possess :

A minimum of 4 years’ UK practice experience is essential

Ideally qualified or equivalent through experience (QBE)

Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting, and Taxation software

Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
