Legal Counsel. 5+ PQE. Food & Beverage Industry. 12 month FTC.
Our client, a fast growing FTSE 250 Food and Beverage company , is looking to secure a Legal Counsel for a 12 month FTC . The contract is due to start in and around May and will run for 12 months, with the potential to become a permanent position . The team works on a hybrid basis, with the legal team expected to s pend 1-2 days a week in their offices in Buckinghamshire . The role is also open to individuals looking to work part time, 4 days a week.
The successful individual will join a close-knit legal team, supporting a fast growing, ambitious and acquisitive organisation , and can expect to be involved in an exciting range of corporate and commercial legal work to include commercial contracts, franchise agreements and compliance, technology agreement, marketing and advertising, joint ventures, data protection and brand protection matters.
Due to the nature of the requirement, it is likely that successful candidates will be qualified in England and Wales , have upwards of 5 years’ PQE working at Legal Counsel level , and possess some experience working within a dynamic in house legal team . Experience in handling a broad range of corporate and commercial matters across the food and beverage, hospitality, leisure and / or retail sectors would be highly beneficial. An interest in being involved in the support and development of more junior members of the team would also be particularly appealing.
Whilst there is no guarantee, there is the potential for this contract to become a permanent position with onward growth and promotion opportunities .
