Nursery PractitionerLocation : Lambeth, Brixton, SW9Hours : Full-Time 8 : 30 AM - 4.00 PMPay Rate : £105-£115 per dayStart Date : April 2025Long Term Futures is supporting a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Brixton (SW9) in their search for a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the Early Years team from 22nd April 2025.The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering the Early Years curriculum, creating engaging learning environments, and supporting a range of developmental needs - including those with SEN.Key Responsibilities : Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS frameworkCreate a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for all learnersPromote children's development in key areas such as communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal, social & emotional skillsSupport pupils with additional needs, adapting activities and routines where neededTrack and assess progress, contributing to observations and pupil profilesFollow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all timesWhat You'll Need : A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, EYFS or equivalent (CACHE, NVQ, etc.)Previous experience in a nursery or EYFS setting, ideally within a primary schoolStrong understanding of child development and the Early Years curriculumA creative, proactive, and nurturing approachWhy Work with Long Term Futures?Transport contributions to ease your commute24 / 7 dedicated consultant supportAccess to a wide range of CPD courses for FREEAccess to long-term and permanent placements ONLY.
