to hold direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our Cement depot in South Lanarkshire. You will be responsible for managing the depot operatives, craftsmen and contractors, liaising closely with the companys functional managers. Depot Supervisor , reporting into the National Engineering Manager, you will assist with the development, operation and maintenance strategies for all plant and associated equipment alongside developing, managing and delivering the annual site improvement plan. Depot Supervisor , your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include (not exhaustive) : Developing, implementing and maintaining safety, housekeeping and environmental practices in support of the Companys internal and External standardsDriving performance targets to achieve or exceed the business planMaintaining bulk and bagged stocks to company proceduresExecuting planned maintenance schedules for all plant and equipmentEnsuring compliance with all relevant statutory legislation and the internal company safety, health, environmental and quality standardsAssisting with development and delivery of the depot business plan alongside the site improvement planWorking closely with internal teams, optimising and developing safe and efficient operation of the depot plant and handling facilitiesWorking alongside the Transport team to aid compliances with Transport Operating License requirements and Tarmac Transport proceduresLine management responsibility for direct reports within the depotThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal

will be able to demonstrate previous operational management experience with the ability to work independently, making day-to-day decisions regarding the safe and efficient operation of the depot. An awareness of Transport Operating Licenses would be beneficial.You will also possess the following;Safety qualification - minimum IOSH Managing Safety (NEBOSH preferred)Operators License Awareness TrainingNational CPC would be desirable but not essentialIT literate in JDE, TFP, VAS Applications and Microsoft Office applicationFull Current Driving LicenseThe
