About the Role :
As an Educational Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with a range of additional needs, including physical, emotional, and learning challenges. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment, enabling our students to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide Personalised Care : Assist with daily living activities such as feeding, mobility, and personal care, ensuring the well-being of each student.
- Support Learning : Assist in the classroom, working one-on-one or in small groups to facilitate learning and engagement in line with the students’ educational plans.
- Collaborate with Staff : Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and other healthcare professionals to implement personalised educational and health care strategies.
- Monitor Progress : Keep detailed records of students’ progress and care needs, ensuring clear communication with the wider team.
- Promote Independence : Encourage students to develop independence and self-confidence, supporting their social and emotional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
