Due to our continued expansion, we are looking to recruit an HR Assistant to join our busy team in Bishop’s Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone in their first job to develop their career.
The successful candidate will provide support to the HR team in relation to recruitment, learning and development and general HR. You will :
- Be the first point of contact for general enquiries, escalating where needed
- Organise interviews, liaising with candidates and agencies
- Assist with the onboarding of new joiners
- Assist with organising Graduate recruitment interview days, Vacation Placement scheme and Law Fairs
- Assist with benefit renewals and enrolment of staff
- Maintain the data in our HRIS and Learning Management Systems
- Manage requests to book external training
- Support the L&D Manager in promoting L&D events and managing the logistics, , room bookings, catering, etc
The ideal candidate will have 6 months’ experience in an administrative role. Previous experience of HR is advantageous but not essential. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and experience of Microsoft 365 products. You will need to be able to use your own initiative, ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and have good attention to detail.
We will provide full on the job training and as your experience grows we will sponsor you through the CIPD qualification route.
