Job Description

Skyworks Solutions is seeking an experienced RF Test / Applications Engineer for its Mobile Solutions RFIC team located in our UK design center.  This candidate will test, debug and optimise our prototype RFIC designs to meet customer specifications, and support them through to production.   Working closely with the co-located RF design team, and wider cross-site teams in US & Canada, the candidate will play a key role in validating and delivering high-performance RF communication products to high volume applications in mobile phone and other markets.

Long Description

Responsibilities :

• Perform RF testing on prototypes using automated test systems in an R&D lab (for example EVM, load pull, ACPR, etc)
• Debugging and optimizing prototype performance through RF tuning and IC control interface
• Analysis and evaluation of results
• Support designs through to production including production test result analysis
• Work closely with design engineers and product engineers,
• Self-starter with flexibility to work within a small team to take on a range of tasks as required.
• Modify & debug test software, configuration files and other scripts
• Management of equipment calibration and maintenance
