TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for an Electrical Test Engineer in Crawley / Croydon / South London area. The work involved will be working on the railway network or in a commercial or industrial setting for a large award-winning electrical company. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting fixed wire testing and providing outstanding service to our clients while working trackside. Your expertise in performing EICRs within the railway network, as well as in commercial or industrial environments, will be essential to delivering excellent results.Working hours – 45 hours per weekSalary - £42,000 - £55,000, depending on experienceLocation – Crawley, Croydon, South London.Your duties will be yet not limited toPerform EICRs using your deep understanding of both single and three-phase systemsCarry out electrical repairs and minor works across the South London rail networkBe prepared for flexible working hours, including occasional stays away from home and weekend shiftsKeep detailed administrative records of all work completed, coordinating with the Helpdesk for planned maintenance and reporting RequirementsCity & Guilds 2360 or 2365 Level 3, or equivalent to BS7671 18th editionNVQ Level 3 including AM2City & Guilds or equivalent (phone number removed)Current PTS certificate is required along with IPAF and PASMA certifications (desirable).  ECS JIB registration is also ideal.
