A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a specialist Homeless Prevention Manager to join one of Adecco's leading local authority clients in a permanent assignment, paying between £58,692- £60,819 per annum.
Working hybridly (3 days in the South London office each week, minimum), this is a full time role for 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm). The successful candidate will be required to strategically manage, develop, organise and coordinate a team of team leaders / officers providing a full casework service for customers in housing need, preventing homelessness wherever possible, and carrying out timely and robust accommodation needs and homelessness assessments where necessary ensuring that that the service meets all legislative requirements.
You will act as the service's lead manager on special projects relating to homelessness prevention and / or the assessment and application of the Council's duties under homelessness legislation. This role is about developing and improving the Prevention and Assessment service and the relationship with residents, assessing service delivery from the customers perspective, identifying improvement areas, and addressing gaps.
