Job DetailsClass 2 Afternoon / Evening driver doing

store deliveries to stores each night, working a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off or 5 on 3 offThis is a national temperature-controlled distribution company operating across three depots in the UK.What you will be doingSafely operate the delivery van to transport goods to various locations.Average Drops between 8-10 drops per dayEnsure timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.Load and unload items from cages, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Handball work will be involved.Maintain communication with Transport staff and customers regarding delivery status.Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean driving log.Start times between 14 : 00 - 17 : 00What we are looking forValid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license- EssentialCPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and valid digital tachograph card EssentialStrong knowledge of UK road networks and road safety laws- EssentialExcellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.Minimum of 2 years held on a driving license - EssentialWe will accept up to 6 points on your license, but no DD, DG, TT, DR, CD, IN, CU endorsements.Flexibility to work on a 4 on 4 off or 5 on 3 off shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. - EssentialWorking Monday to Sunday on a rota pattern over 8 weeks4 on 4 off Shift pattern Guaranteed 35 hours per week over 12-week period5 on 3 off Shift pattern Guaranteed 44 hours per week over 12-week periodFull training will be provided along with a uniformStarting hourly pay will be £16.91 per hrBank holidays worked paid at time and half.Job Type : PermanentPay : Up to £16.91 per hourBenefits : Company pensionEmployee discountFree parkingOn-site parkingOnce you go perm the money does go up to £16.91 per hourThis is on an 8 week temp to perm opportunityPlease contact our friendly team now on01543479065Grafters Recruit Ltd have five branches, four on-site locations and four remote contracts throughout the country.
