General Supply Teacher – KS3 to KS4

Location :   Barnsley

Salary Range : £140 - £190 per day (Depending on experience)

Start time : Immediate

Contract : Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking  General Supply Teachers  to work across secondary schools in  Barnsley , covering  KS3 to KS4 . If you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) prepared to transition from training to a rewarding teaching role, we encourage you to apply.

As a  General Supply Teacher , you will be delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring classroom engagement, and providing continuity in students' education. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different schools while maintaining control over your work schedule.

General Supply Teacher Responsibilities :

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans to KS3 and KS4 students across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a structured and engaging learning environment.
• Follow school policies and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Adapt to different school settings and work with students of varying abilities.
• Provide feedback to permanent staff regarding student progress and any classroom concerns.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection measures are upheld at all times.
