Our client is a well-established and trusted automotive service provider, looking for a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to become an integral part of their professional and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of a DVLA-certified MOT Centre, known for its high standards in vehicle testing and maintenance. Benefits Competitive starting salary : £36,000 (dependent on experience). IMI training opportunities to gain additional qualifications after the probation period. Long-term career growth within a highly respected garage. The option for a four-day working week for the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities Work on a variety of vehicles with proficiency and expertise. Perform mechanical repairs, servicing, and MOT-related tasks. Conduct diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used. Collaborate effectively within the team while also working independently. Consistently uphold health and safety standards. Qualifications & Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade. Possession of own tools (essential). Ability to work efficiently, delivering high-quality results. Strong problem-solving skills for mechanical and electrical systems. Full UK driving licence (preferred).
