To maximise the sales of the Foodservice accounts under your remit in a profitable way.
The role is firstly to develop and grow the sales with the existing customer base under your remit, working with both the RTM Wholesaler to develop sales, and also by working with their existing end user customers who use our products. Secondly you will also be tasked with opening new RTM customers and / or new end user customers, to expand the distribution of the brands we sell in the Foodservice channel.
We manage brands that are both back of house and front of house. Firstly we have LKK which is the leading authentic Chinese food brand in the UK and has loads of potential for further growth. Then we have a Sacla Foodservice range including Vegan solutions, as well as Mathew Walker Xmas puddings and a new emerging authentic pasta brand called Rummo.
In the front of house we have a number of drinks brands including Nexba, BOS and Nix & Kix all offering either functional or health related benefits.
To be able to achieve all of these sales challenges you will need to prove to us that you can :
- Effectively manage your account portfolio meeting all brand objectives that are set
- Build and develop close working relationships with key decision makers
- To be excellent at presenting all relevant new product launches
- As this a Foodservice role experience or a background as chef is helpful, although not essential
- However if you aren't a chef you need to be able to demonstrate a real passion and experience in the Food service sector
Whilst many of these accounts are National Wholesale buying members, most of the customers are based in the South West. You would also have the responsibility of managing the HO of some of these accounts.
The ideal candidate should be located in the South west area, but should also be prepared to come to Petty Wood's HO in Andover, 2 days a week as a minmium.
Also as a business it is worth noting that whilst Teams meetings have their place, we prefer selling calls to be done face to face, so if you are looking for a mainly homebased role, this job isnt for you.
