Stores OperativeWe are seeking a Stores Operative to join our Manufacturing and Engineering company. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on and enjoys a dynamic and sometimes fast paced work environment. The position involves a variety of tasks including packing, stock control, and quality checking, occasional driving, forklift operation, using ERP system to control goods and ensuring a smooth running of our stores.Day-to-day of the role :

• Handling goods in and out, ensuring efficient processing and storage.
• Operating forklifts to manage materials and products.
• Managing delivery notes and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Conducting stock control to maintain inventory levels and ensure availability of materials.
• Performing quality checks on products to ensure high standards are met.
• Conducting damage checks to prevent and address any issues.
• Operating and working with various machinery in a production setting.
• Assisting in other departments as needed to support overall operations.
• Some heavy lifting.
• Unloading containers with precision and care.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Collaborating with team members to meet delivery requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications :
• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Forklift experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Flexible and adaptable, willing to assist in various tasks as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and safety protocols.What we are looking for :
