We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to work for one of our clients in a Warehouse Operative / Forklift driving role.This is a Temp to Perm role, working for a friendly company, as part of a small team, in a role which also offers enhanced overtime rates of pay. The role involves forklift truck driving and also carrying out physical manual handling and loading, as well as warehouse administration.Key Features of role : - Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a warehouse- Manual Handling, picking and packaging orders- Getting boxed items ready for Despatch - may involve packaging items and palletising and labelling of goods- Helping load items on to lorries and organising couriers to collect items ready for despatchRequirements : - You MUST hold a valid licence for a Counterbalance FLT- YOU MUST be physically fit and able to lift and move items- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English and read and write- Someone with a Full UK Drivers Licence and experience of driving a van would be a distinct advantage - but this is not essentialPlease only apply if you are able to start from Tuesday 22nd April and you have a valid counterbalance Forklift Licence.The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm and offers an immediate start.
