About the role
It's an exciting time to join AXA Insurance, with significant investment planned in all AXA UK&I businesses to transform, deliver exceptional service and streamline our business processes for customers. We're looking for a talented person to join our successful Birmingham team on a permanent basis. As Sales Manager, you'll lead sales across the Birmingham branch to maximise profit and growth.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 60% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients and brokers or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as part-time or condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
What you'll be doing :
- Lead the Sales and Distribution function in the branch, driving growth via strong pipeline and market engagement to achieve Branch target and maximise Branch income and profit.
- Management of New Deals Process at a Branch level.
- Drive the Sales and Distribution Plan across the Birmingham Branch. Overall view of Key Accounts, ensuring joint business plans in place driving long term partnerships and profitable growth.
- Implement and execute the planning, forecasting and managing of the Branch's sales budget, and ensuring that the business is delivered within budget.
- Manage the performance and personal development of four Account Managers including technical, relationship management and sales excellence skills development.
- Responsible for engagement and support to hubs within AXA to ensure ‘One AXA' approach.
- Project work that aligns with strategic objectives.
