Location : Nationwide opportunities – includes travel to learner workplaces (3 days per week)

Salary : Up to £32,000 (DOE)

Are you passionate about supporting others in Health & Social Care and enjoy being on the move? We’re looking for a dedicated Trainer / Assessor to join our team, helping learners succeed by conducting in-person workplace observations and providing expert coaching.

In this role, you’ll travel three days a week to observe learners, assess their practical skills, and guide them through their apprenticeship journey.

What the role involves :

  • Conduct in-person workplace observations and assessments
  • Support learners with coaching, feedback, and mock assessments
  • Track progress and create action plans for development
  • Ensure learners are EPA-ready and confident in their skills
  • Build strong relationships with learners and employers
  • Stay current with care standards and best practices

The ideal candidate will have :

  • A minimum Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
  • A Teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS, etc.).
  • Level 3 and / or 5 qualification within the Health & Social Care sector.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with learners and employers
  • Experience in coaching or assessing learners.
  • A solid understanding of End-Point Assessment (EPA) .
  • Access to a car and the ability to travel for in-person learner observations, 1 : 1s, and team meetings.
