Quantity Surveyor Utilities
Location : Greater Manchester
Fulltime Permanent Hybrid
Were looking for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor for a leading provider of infrastructure services to the utilities sector.
Theyre a well known Manchesterbased contractor specialising in electricity transmission and distribution. Over the last 20 years they have developed an outstanding reputation for delivering highquality infrastructure projects throughout the UK.
Your Role :
Manage all commercial aspects of projects from inception to final account.
Prepare accurate cost estimates valuations and budgets.
Assess and negotiate subcontractor packages and payments.
Monitor and control project expenditure and commercial performance.
Provide contractual advice and ensure compliance in line with contracts.
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and financial control.
Identify risks opportunities and value engineering solutions.
What Youll Bring :
Degreequalified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Proven experience within utilities civil engineering or related infrastructure sectors.
Strong understanding of contract law and standard forms of contract (NEC / JCT).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Confident using commercial and project management software.
