Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer within the National Service Team, you will provide high-quality field-based technical expertise at customer sites across the country. Your responsibilities include installation, calibration, fault finding, training, and repairing customer equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, on-site commissioning, servicing, and calibration of customer's inline inspection equipment according to company procedures, including on-site customer training when required.
- Execute upgrades and refurbishments at customer sites.
- Handle customer queries professionally and courteously on-site.
- Adapt to various environments and adhere to local health and safety regulations.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly as per company procedures.
- Work overtime and participate in on-call standby rota as required.
- Continuously improve product knowledge through learning diverse products.
- Provide technical support via phone and email as needed.
Requirements
Essential :
Good technical electrical / electronics skills.Minimum BTEC / ONC / HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical / electrical engineering.Experience in a field service role, familiar with commissioning, repairs, and servicing.PLC programming knowledge and familiarity with PC hardware are advantages.Good PC literacy and organizational skills.Methodical problem-solving approach.Full current driving license.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Flexibility to work overtime and stay overnight occasionally.Alignment with Loma’s core behaviors and ITW Values.Additional Information
