GSL Education are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Sheffield . This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong commitment to supporting students in their learning and personal development.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with teachers and specialists to support students with additional needs. You will provide tailored assistance, helping children engage with the curriculum and develop essential life skills.

Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) :

• Support students with special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other difficulties.
• Assist with personalised learning plans to meet the individual needs of students.
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to encourage student engagement and progress.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student development, sharing insights with teachers and parents.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to support students' well-being.
