Job Description :

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for Food Production Operatives in Wythenshawe, M23.

Duties will include :

• Operating and maintaining machines used to remove wax or cut cheese.
• Cutting or grating blocks or wheels of cheese into smaller pieces as required.
• Manually or mechanically removing the rind from cheese to minimize waste.
• Cutting cheese and moving boxes of cheese using a trolley.
• Checking cheeses for mold and setting them aside for further assessment if needed.
• Weighing boxes of shavings and test cheese, inputting the data into the computer, removing 3 stickers, placing them on the box, and packing into boxes.
• Unloading lorries with loose cheese and stacking cheese on pallets.

We are looking for candidates who have experience working in a fast paced environment that involved either manufacturing or packing products.

We have the following shifts available :

Monday - Friday 6am-2pm

Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm

Monday - Friday 10pm-6am

The pay rates are below :

Early Shift : £12.21 per hour

Late Shift : £12.52 per hour

Night Shift : £13.06 per hour

Overtime is paid at time and a half

Long term ongoing work, potentially leading to permanent work for the right candidates.
