Job Title : Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Location : South of Manchester Shift Pattern : Rotating 3-shift system (Days : 6am–2pm; Back Shift : 2pm–10pm; Nights : 10pm–6am) About Our Client Our client is a rapidly growing, family-run FMCG leader that truly knows what good looks like. You’ll maintain critical equipment at their advanced South Manchester site, directly impacting operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence : Resolve breakdowns with a "fix first time" mentality Deliver planned / reactive maintenance using CMMS systems Lead shift handovers and collaborate with production teams Continuous Improvement : Drive reliability projects and root-cause analysis Implement efficiency / safety upgrades Compliance : Maintain strict H&S / quality standards and documentation Team Support : Train operational staff and provide cross-shift coverage Your Profile Essential : NVQ Level 3+ in Electrical / Multi-Skilled Engineering 5+ years’ FMCG experience (food / beverage ideal) Strong electrical bias with mechanical aptitude Desirable : HNC / HND Engineering Automated processing equipment expertise Personal Fit : Solution-focused problem-solver Excellent communicator and team player Safety-conscious and proactive Why Join?
