Job description

Join a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialist foods in the UK, operating from their manufacturing site in Manchester. Our client is dedicated to delivering a diverse range of fresh and frozen foods to clients nationwide. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Food Production Operatives to contribute to our bustling production environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Work diligently on a busy food production line, maintaining a consistent and high standard of product quality
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth production operations
  • Monitor and replenish the production line with required ingredients and

packaging materials

  • Maintain a clean and organized production area, moving goods as needed to support production flow.
  • Adhere to strict Food Safety and Quality guidelines to ensure product integrity
  • Follow stringent Health and Safety guidelines, identifying and reporting risks to management to prevent accidents
  • Report any issues with the production process or machinery to management promptly

    • Requirements :

  • Experience in food production or a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a dynamic, high-speed work setting
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace
  • Flexibility in working hours, with a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 07 : 00 to 15 : 45
  • Willingness to work overtime on Saturdays to meet business requirements when needed.
